A description of structural or operational changes that would facilitate the pest control effort.  

The proposed methods for monitoring where the contractor will describe the products and procedures that would assist in the identification of pest presence and harborage locations.

List of proposed materials and equipment such as labels and Material Safety Data Sheets for all pesticides/chemicals to be used.

Besides, brand names for all rodent baits, monitoring and trapping devices and any other application and control equipment will also be provided.

A service schedule where the frequency of visits will be maintained.

Date of visit and the duration of stay will be recorded and the services received will be logged appropriately.

All licenses and certificates for the company and employees performing the onsite services under the contract shall be availed.

We will be responsible for maintaining a pest control logbook for each work site or station under this contract.

The same will be kept on site and maintained on each visit.  On occasions, we will be requested to perform corrective and emergency services which are beyond the routine quarterly requests.

We will respond to these exceptional circumstances and carry out the necessary work within 24 hours of the receipt of the request.

We shall be responsible for application of pesticides according to the label.

All pesticides and or chemicals used must be licensed by the Kenya Pest Control Products Board and must comply with any local jurisdiction.

Besides, we shall ensure that only approved products and chemicals as per the pest control plan of work will be utilized.

These chemicals will only be used according to need and not schedule, and that the same will only be applied when other non-chemical control methods have been tried to solve the problem.

Should the application of chemical control be inevitable, then we will employ the least hazardous material and apply most precise application technique that would use minimum quantity of pesticide to achieve full control.

Throughout the term of the contract, we shall be responsible for advising the Company about any structural, sanitary or procedural modifications that will reduce pest access, food, water and harborage.

First class cleaning services shall be responsible for adequately suppressing all pests included in this contract regardless of whether or not the suggested modifications are implemented.

We will not be held responsible for carrying out structural modifications as part of the pest control efforts.

Any changes that may become necessary during the contract period due to unforeseen circumstances shall be dealt with in line with the provisions of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act –2015.
